Raymondskill Falls
Dingmans Ferry, Pennsylvania - May 30, 2010
We took pictures at Raymondskill Falls. The falls at 180 feet is the tallest in Pennsylvania. It is only about 3 miles from the town of Milford, Pennsylvania where the Grey Towers and The Columns Museum are located.

So in and about the small 0.5 square mile (1.3 sq. km.) town of Milford with a population of only about a thousand are already three I would say not so minor attractions. Not to mention the Poconos which has been a popular honeymoon destination for decades in the United States.

If you visit New York City and at some point “have had enough” of the city, Poconos with its laidback country atmosphere may be the worthwhile addition to your itinerary.

You can walk across the top of the falls -- and if not careful fall as there are no railings.
NY State prohibits walking across the top of one waterfall (Kaaterskill Falls) because people can fall to their death, as one apparently did, much to the protest of hikers. Apparently, that is not the case in Pennsylvania.

Pool above the falls. People were actually swimming in it in swimsuits and shorts when we arrived.
There's a small cave along one of the trails. This is from the inside looking out.
It's really hardly a cave -- just a small room to crouch in with two
