"Borders" at Dag Hammarskjold Plaza
New York City
Previous Index Next
Dag Hammarskjold Plaza is a place where rallies, activism, and maybe indoctrination against certain global turmoils with the UN Building as backdrop that, depending on the political climate, you may or may not agree with, regularly occur. So, if in case you're looking for some peace and quiet in a deep sense, the "vibes" you'd find here would be mixed.

At least "Friends of Dag Hammarskjold Plaza" calls it "plaza" and not "park" so no one would be misled. Your cellphone will surely shatter into pieces if you drop it on the tiled floor here as opposed to, say, the dirt paths found in Central Park or Bryant Park.
